Amy has a BA in English and Politics and a Masters in Political Science from the London School of Economics. She has worked in the USA, the UK and Southern Africa. She started her career as a researcher in the House of Commons. She then moved to Stanford University in California where she helped to develop curriculum across different departments for undergraduate students. In 1996 she arrived in Johannesburg as the HR Manager for the international consulting firm Bain & Company, where she was responsible for the full remit of HR policies, a position she held for seven years. Since 2003 Amy has focused on executive and corporate development, by helping individuals and teams achieve their goals. She is considered to be a specialist individual and team coach, and is also an integrator and facilitator. She sits on the coaching panel at GIBS, AIG and Nedbank. At GIBS, Amy is a professional associate who works with the MBAs as a mentor and lecturer on characteristics of academic writing. Amy works as a coach and integrator for corporate programmes in Southern Africa. She has been involved in projects in Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa.
